Description
Deactivated Arisaka Japanese Rifle — Authentic Military Bolt-Action.
This professionally deactivated Arisaka rifle is an authentic example of the bolt-action service rifles carried by the Imperial Japanese Army during the first half of the twentieth century. Permanently rendered non-firing in accordance with current UK deactivation standards, it retains its original military character, markings and period finish while being completely safe and legal to own as a display piece.
A Brief History
The Arisaka rifle series was first introduced in 1905 and remained Japan’s primary service rifle through both the First and Second World Wars. Among the most notable variants were the Type 38, chambered in 6.5×50mm, and the later Type 99, chambered in 7.7×58mm to provide greater battlefield stopping power. Renowned for their robust construction and reliability in harsh environments, Arisakas saw action across Asia and the Pacific. Today, surviving examples are highly sought after by collectors, museums and re-enactment groups as tangible links to a pivotal era in world history.
